Grosbeak (35/11-21 A) – Reservoir section
What happened:
Max flowrate for extracting formation fluid with the FTWT tool was said to be 6-7 lpm. During this job, the average flowrate up to sampling depth station #4 was only 1-2 lpm. The reason for the low flowrate was to no create too much drawdown pressure in order to prevent the fluid from reaching it’s bubble point (gas boiling out of fluid).
What was planned:
Run FTWT.
What was learned:
Took very long time to circulate out 300 litres of formation fluid before one could take a clean sample.
What actions are required:
Consider the long circulation time required for next job using FTWT.
